Job responsibilities.

Both managers and attendants have the following responsibilities:

Communicating with customers on day of rental order pickups and returns
Preparing rental kits for pick up and explaining to customers how to use the gear
Receiving and cleaning returned rental gear
Option to contribute social media posts and write blogs

Managers have the added responsibility of:

Taking new and modifying existing rental orders in person or over the phone
Checking and updating rental inventory
Scheduling, supervising, and supporting rental attendants when store owner is away

You must be available at least 2 days per week, 5 hours per day, for at least 2 months, with possibility to extend contract
During your work days, you'll be on-call for either the morning shift (8 AM - 1 PM) or the afternoon shift (12 PM - 5 PM)
- On-call means that you can stay at home unless there is a scheduled rental pickup or return or you get a last-minute rental request
- Actual on-site work (preparing new rental orders and/or cleaning gear) will take on average 1-3 hours per day
You must have a reliable car to get to our location as needed
You must be comfortable working by yourself
You must be physically able to move and clean gear, have a sense of organization, and pay attention to detail
Familiarity with outdoor gear is a plus
Experience camping in the Southwest is a plus
